Baked Maple Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1 cup Maple Syrup
• 1 cup raisins
• 1 cup melted shortening
• 1 t. each cloves, nutmeg, cinncmon, salt
• 1 cup cold water

Boil above ingredients together for 4 minutes and chill thoroughly.
Add:

• 2 cups flour, 1 t. soda, i cup walnuts.
• Beat well and bake in loaf pon 350 1 hour. Frost with
• Maple Cream frosting.
